Could you please tell us the story of this brand? ​ Ecco opened its first two mono-brand stores in Istanbul in March last year and entered the Turkish market with 5 stores as planned. This shoe and leather giant was founded in 1963 in Denmark. Ecco is one of the rare big shoe manufacturers worldwide that establishes and manages all the phases including tanneries, factories and stores. The Ecco company headquarters are in Denmark. This family company is managed by the Kasprzak Toosbuy family. The brand sells more than 21 million shoes worldwide and places a particular emphasis on the Turkish market. Ecco is different from other shoe companies around the world because it owns and controls all the phases of its shoe production. The company is proud of its superior quality and innovative technologies and works on reflecting this quality to the customers. Ecco brand symbolizes style and comfort all around the world and defines its success by saying that “the shoe must follow the foot”. Their successful production philosophy is that “instead of being formed by the foot, the shoe must complement the foot”. Ecco has 5 production sites, more than 1200 mono-brand stores and over 15.000 sales points worldwide and is the second biggest shoe producer in the world. This Scandinavian brand from Denmark has increased the number of its stores to 2.989 worldwide and therefore has 15.000 sales points in 90 countries. ​ As a brand with 2.989 stores worldwide, could you please tell us how you entered the Turkish market? ​ We have always seen Turkey with its population over 76 million and an annual shoe market of 200 pair of shoes as the biggest potential among European markets. Our opinion didn’t change after we entered the market. In 2014, we opened 5 Ecco stores in Istanbul as we had planned. Our customers can have our products in our Ecco stores at Istanbul Marmara Forum, Forum Istanbul, Mall of Istanbul with its premium store concept, Özdilek Park and Çekmeköy Metro Garden. We are planning to open 5 more stores in the coming 12 months. Even though only the short period of one year has passed, we are very happy with the interest shown by the Turkish consumers for our high-technology shoes, bags and accessories which we produce completely from our own leather. In the upcoming years, Ecco shall invest significantly in the Turkish retail sector. ​ How did your paths cross with Nebim? ​ We were familiar with Nebim from the sector. Nebim collaborates with many leading companies in the Turkish retail sector. We also had experience with Nebim software prior to Ecco. These factors played an important role for our choosing Nebim. Not only has Nebim a lot of experience in the sector, but Nebim V3 ERP exceeded our expectations. ​ Could you please tell us how Nebim V3 contributes to your business processes? ​ In general, Nebim V3 ERP accelerated our business processes and it made them more practical. Especially on the store side, as the reporting is easy and effective, we can issue reports for all the stores at the same time and make our decisions faster. ​ Among the benefits of Nebim V3, I would emphasize the Web Revenue application. With the Web Revenue application, we can access store information, revenue and class information during the day online, therefore we can keep track of revenue movements in all the stores instantly. When we see that a store will be below the revenue target, we can intervene there on time. ​ In addition to this, the menus regarding the product cards, pricing and campaigns are fast and easy. Very importantly for our imported products, we can include their product cards in our stocks in a practical way and therefore we save many days of effort and a lot of human resources. ​ Another benefit of Nebim V3 is that we can see the costs of our stores at our headquarters easily. As we can observe the store costs instantly, we can manage the costs of all stores in a fast and easy manner. Another benefit is that thanks to Nebim V3 Data Warehouse reporting, we can easily generate customized and detailed reports for various analyses. These reports enable us to make fast decisions and to change our decisions quickly according to the results.

Another reason for choosing Nebim V3 was that we foresaw that the problems during the ERP transition phase and the needs for customizing would be minimal. ​ Can you please tell us the story behind the brand Silk & Cashmere? ​ Silk and Cashmere was founded in 1992 with passion and a spirit of entrepreneurship. Worldwide, it is the first and only brand specializing solely on pure cashmere, pure silk and their mixtures. The production site is Inner Mongolia, which is the homeland of cashmere. Only certified cashmere and silk of the highest quality are used. We have around 200 sales points in 26 countries. At the same time, we have the biggest cashmere collection worldwide. Our collection is based on universal inspiration sources and includes menswear, womenswear, accessories, home textiles and baby clothing products. Furthermore, Silk and Cashmere is one of the very first brands that comes into mind when it comes to presents. Our brand has received many awards on entrepreneurship and brand success, the latest one being the French award on "The Best Foreign Initiative". The brand story is also subject of many lectures at universities and lots of theses have been written about it. Please tell us about your reasons for preferring Nebim V3. ​ We were looking for ERP software that supports our growing retail operations both inside Turkey and abroad as well as our multinational structure, software that lets us follow our productivity increase efforts on our supply chain using a single platform. Thanks to Nebim's business intelligence (QlikView) application, we can perform dynamic analysis and make quick decisions. The joy of mobile shopping experienced by our customers is also important for us. We had a dream about the mobile EFT POS device in May 2014 with Nebim. With the new generation cash register Hugin VX 675, we have prevented sales losses resulting from long queues at cash registers on Black Fridays. The latest sales campaign between 26 May - 31 May was "Buy any one product of the season and get the second one free". We performed our sales with Hugin VX 675 mobile EFT POS device in a very fast manner, giving the customers cash register receipts. The campaigns prepared on Nebim V3 are instantly applied during the sales, while the credit card payment information reaches Nebim V3 immediately via Hugin EFT POS device. Therefore, sales losses due to long queues are prevented and all payment information and the cash register receipts are instantly integrated into Nebim V3. ​ Please tell us about your future targets at Silk and Cashmere and also about your targets relating to Nebim? We will continue our progress of the past three years regarding retail stores. We will remain a brand of innovation with our technological infrastructure and together with our team with their high commitment to the brand. Opening new retail stores and new points of sale will pave our way to a worldwide brand. Our targets relating to Nebim concern creating a more efficient ERP infrastructure to access information. The cooperation with Hugin is a first in the industry, we had a dream and together we made it real. Supply chain integration, B2B and B2C applications projects and business intelligence projects where our team members using Nebim V3 make their contributions willingly, all of these will continue with the support of Jef Sisa and his team.     Marchon Eyewear Success Story Emre Başıbüyük Enternasyonel Eyeglasses | General Manager Enternasyonel Eyeglasses started out as a small family enterprise and has become an important player in the sector with more than 800 sales points following its collaboration with the global giant Marchon. ​ The General Manager of Enternasyonel Eyeglasses explained that they have completed 20 years in this sector. Emre Başıbüyük said: “The brands that we were distributing suggested that we should establish their Turkish offices and we took this into consideration and focused our efforts accordingly. We entered a local collaboration with Marchon, one of the biggest optics companies worldwide, and established their office in Turkey. New marketing activities started so that we could develop our position in the sector and explain Marchon better. Monitor the fulfillment in the contract workshops and production lines according to the production plan. The production routes for the production work orders can be defined by work order. Different production trees can be created according to different production types. According to the routes, planning based on work stations is possible. On the screen for work order station planning, work orders can be planned based on departments and stations. When station planning is set up, products can be divided into separate stations if so required.
